Materials
Yarn: Parfait Chunky, Premier Yarn; Weight 6/Super Bulky, [100% polyester; 131 yd/120 m
per 3.5oz/100 g skein]; Color 1: Pale Blue ; Color 2: Cotton Candy; Color 3: Iris Hook: Us
Size G-7 (4.5 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge. Notions: Tapestry needle, Stuffing, Stitch markers, Scissors, Safety eyes (8 mm)

Gauge:
6 sts and 7 rows = 2 in (5 cm) in sc
Finished Sizes:
Width:6 in ( 15 cm) Height: 7 in ( 18 cm)
Stitch Abbreviations:
BLO: Back loop only
ch: chain
dc: double crochet
dc inc: double crochet increase
dec: invisible decrease
hdc: half double crochet
hdc inc: half double crochet increase
inc: increase (sc increase)
MR: magic ring
R: round/row
sc: single crochet
sl st: slip stitch
st (s): stitch (es)
(x) : x = total number of stitches at the end of the round/row

Pattern Notes:

Pattern is written in US Terminology and Imperial Measurements.
Parts are joined directly with sc. Because tension and stitch lean vary, fold your work
flat to find the center and shift the join position by 1–2 sts if needed for symmetry.

Special Stitch:
dec (Invisible Single Crochet Decrease): Insert hook into the front loop of the next stitch, then the front loop of the following stitch, yarn over, pull through both loops, yarn over, pull through both loops on hook

 

Pattern Instructions:
Legs (make 2)
Stuff as you go. Using Color 1:
R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
R2: inc × 6 (12)
R3: (sc, inc)x 6 (18)
R4-5: 18 sc for 2 rounds (18)
R6: (7 sc, dec) x 2 (16)

Fasten off, weave in ends. The legs will be joined to the body later using sc.
Each half of the leg round will be attached to one round of the body over two rounds.

Arms (make 2)
Stuff lightly through R7.
Continue using Color 1:
R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
R2: 6 x inc (12)
R3-4: 12 sc for 2 rounds (12)
R5: (4 sc, dec) x 2 (10)
R6-7: 10 sc for 2 rounds (10)
R8: (3 sc, dec) x 2 (8)
Fold arm in half and sc 4 across through both layers to close.
Fasten off, weave in ends.

Trunk:
Stuff as you go through R8. Continue using Color 1:
R1: 4 sc in MR (4)
R2: (sc, inc) x 2 (6)
R3: BLO, 6 sc (6)
R4-5: 6 sc for 2 rounds (6)
R6: sc, 3 inc, 2 sc (9)
R7-8: 9 sc for 2 rounds (9)
R9: 3 sc, 3 inc, 3 sc (12)
R10-12: 12 sc for 3 rounds (12)
Fasten off, weave in ends. The trunk will be joined to the head later using sc. Each half of the trunk round will be attached to one round of the body over two rounds.

Ears (make 2)
Start with Color 2:
R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
R2: 6 x inc (12)
R3: (sc, inc) x 6 (18)
R4: 2 sc, inc, 2 hdc, hdc inc, 2 dc, 2 dc inc, 2 dc, hdc inc, 2 hdc, inc, 2 sc (24) Fasten off and weave in ends.
Use Color 1:
Repeat R1 to R4. Do not fasten off. Align with the pink piece right sides facing out and wrong
sides against each other. sc evenly around to join pieces.
Fold piece and sc 3 through both layers to close. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Body:

Stuff firmly as you go. Use Color 1:
R1: 6 sc in MR (6)
R2: 6 x inc (12)
R3: (sc, inc) x 6 (18)
R4: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
R5: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
R6: 4 sc, join half of first leg to body with 8 sc, 6 sc, join half of second leg to body with 8 sc, 4sc (30).
R7: 4 sc, join remaining half of first leg to body with 8 sc, 6 sc, join remaining half of second leg to body with 8 sc, 4 sc (30).
R8-10: 30 sc for 3 rounds (30)
R11: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
R12-13: 24 sc for 2 rounds (24)
R14: 8 sc, join arm to body with 4 sc, 2 sc, join second arm to body with 4 sc, 6 sc (24).
R15: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
Do not fasten off, we will continue to head.


Head:
Continue from body. Stuff firmly as you go. Continue with Color 1:
R16: (2 sc, inc) x 6 (24)
R17: (3 sc, inc) x 6 (30)
R18: (4 sc, inc) x 6 (36)
R19: 36 sc (36)
R20: 18 sc, join half of trunk to head with 6 sc, 12 sc (36).
R21: 18 sc, join remaining half of trunk to head with 6 sc, 12 sc (36)

R22: (4 sc, dec) x 6 (30).
R23-25: 30 sc for 3 rounds (30)
R26: (3 sc, dec) x 6 (24)
Place eyes between R22-23, 7 visible sts apart.
R27: 7 sc, join ear to head with 3 sc, 9 sc, join second ear to head with 3 sc, 2 sc (24).
R28: (2 sc, dec) x 6 (18)
R29: ( sc, dec) x 6 (12)
R30: 6 x dec (6)
Cinch closed, fasten off and hide yarn tail.
Insert the hook from the outside of the leg then join to body


Tail:
Use Color 1:
The tail is worked directly on the bottom back of the body. Start with a slip knot on your hook, leaving a long tail. Insert the hook under a st in the center of R6 and pull yarn. Ch 7, 3 sc in the 2nd ch from the hook and 3 sc in each ch across, sl st. (18).
Fasten off and hide both yarn ends.


Collar:
The collar is worked flat in rows (remember ch1 at beginning of the row does not count as a st).
Use Color 3:
Leaving a tail (it will serve as a tie), ch 22. See note for chain adjustment
R1: starting from 2nd ch from the hook, hdc inc, 19 hdc, hdc inc in the last ch. ch 1, turn (23)
R2: 3 sc in each st across, (3sc, sl st) in the last st. (69)
Fasten off, cut yarn leaving a long tail for tying the collar.
All that is left now is to wrap the collar around Bruno’s neck!
